**Why is it that my house gets so completely cluttered and disorganized by every Sunday evening? There is crap everywhere. Dishes need to be done, toys, clothes you name it. There are also little signs of Kyle in every room upstairs. He decided to make a million paper snowflakes and he left the little pieces all over. I'm talking at least 40 snowflakes! He figured out how to make them and that's all the cute boy did all afternoon.
**It's nice to go to family dinner and hang out with everyone even though it is somewhat of a hassle and a long drive. We had a good time.
**I am trying to finish a mini book from the big picture scrapbooking class I am taking about color. Each page has journaling that the type should be printed in that color....well my color printer is not connected because there is something wrong with it. So I took it to Mom's attempted to print on her computer but it wasn't working so well. Kimberly was helping and I said What's up with the printer. She says I don't know...it's like everything else around here broken. That got me thinking. That's kind of how my house it too. When things break, I just deal with it and move on. Do without. Sometimes that's not so great. I really should get my color printer fixed, and the garage door that will only open halfway, and the T.V. downstairs where the sound sticks when you push the remote, and my speakers on the computer.....the list goes on.
**We always have the most interesting conversations while on the way to Grammies. The kids were trying to name everyone (aunts, uncles, cousins) by first, middle and last names. Kyle was playing his gameboy and he said, "Do Caitlin she is almost related." Then the conversation switched to Justin. The kids are very interested in what is going on and they have many questions. I am trying to explain the best that I can. Kyle says that "Justin will always be Connor's Dad in his heart." Where did that come from? He also said if Justin gets married he will beat him up. He also thinks that Brooke and Justin will die at the same time since they were born on the same day. He has a fascination with death lately.
**I really need to get working on a plan for my food storage. We had sign ups for the cannery at church today.
**Patriarchal blessings should be read often. I need to pull mine out and make it more accessible. The stake patriarch spoke today. He said that he welcomes our prayers as a stake on his behalf. I need to remember him. I also liked that he mentioned that fathers are natural partiarchs in their homes. That fathers should take opportunities to teach their children while giving blessings throughout their lives. That when his children left the home, he gave them a blessing and recorded it. The children cherish those blessings and he does as well. It is a record of his testimony to his children. Wonderful idea!
**Sunday mornings are hectic, afternoons are great. I am loving our new church time because I am guaranteed a nap
**Kade loves Poppa
**Kade is saying his name. We had the cutest little interaction this afternoon. He was telling me about his shirt. Kade shirt. I understood the first time and his little eyes lit up. We communicated perfectly! So cool.
