Pity Party

I was so planning on having a night out this weekend. I had already scheduled a babysitter...called her Saturday afternoon to confirm and she says, "Oh, I'm sorry, I can't my cousin has a court of honor tonight." How rude! Could she have at least called earlier in the week so that I could have found someone else. I was hot! I got home late from scrapbooking the night before and I had been working hard cleaning all morning while Steve was gone at his workout session and Home Depot. I was irrational. Getting a little teary eyed....so stupid. Anyways....I took a nap and while I was, Steve scheduled his mom to watch the kids. We dropped them off and went to Claim Jumper. Yummy food and it was nice to get out for an hour or so.

Steve also hung my black frames in the bonus room. Looks just like I envisioned. Need to buy three more frames for the other side. Notice the cute rag pillow. The upstairs is starting to come together.

So Sunday mornings are hectic! Steve goes early to set up chairs. I am frazzled by the time I walk out the door. Today I forgot the crayons and Kade's pacifier. We got into the chapel, Kade asked for it and I realized we didn't have it. He kept screaming. LOUD all during the opening prayer. I had to leave the two kids on the bench and remove Kade from the meeting. He kept crying and screaming in the foyer. We left to go get it. He was much happier going to nursery. Talk about dependent on that thing. It is going to be a nightmare when we take it away for good.

Off to Dad and Mom's for Sunday dinner. The kids have the day off tomorrow, and I never made it grocery shopping this weekend. Fun times for us. We'll see how desperate I get if I end up taking all three to the store.
