Rough Days

Kyle had one heck of a day. He is our very emotional, sensitive child. He must be entertained at all times by the computer, gameboy or playstation. If I take one away because he has misbehaved, oh well he says I still have the computer or the playstation...SO today he threw the biggest tantrum before school. He was working on level 6 of Mario3. That's big stuff and you can't save it on the gameboy until you get to a certain spot, well....his ride was here, his shoes were not on. I told him to stop. He kept playing and then I did the worst thing, I turned the game OFF. He was throwing himself and his fists all over the place. Crying big crocodile tears. Telling me he hated me. Pushing the couch out and hiding behind it. Crazy stuff. So I told him he lost the gameboy for the rest of today and tomorrow. Pulled him together and sent him to school very angry with me. He has been whimpering all night about how he doesn't get his games. We had a huge discussion tonight about limits and obedience. That when we don't listen and obey those things will be taken away. When the dude does get those priviliges back, he gets a timer....only 2 hours max a day. He is having withdrawls! He needs to learn that their are limits and how to control his reactions when he is angry. Rough day but a lesson that needs to be learned and I'm sure will be revisited in time.

We spent the afternoon/evening reading books and snuggling. When Steve got home the kids played with blocks. Kade kept knocking the kids creations over. To keep him occupied, we gave him blocks to stack on the ottoman. He is one funny kid. He would stack saying, "More" and then gently touch it not really trying to knock it over. Then laugh and laugh. He has such expression and is such a little tease.

I got my pack from Jenni Bowlin. So much fun stuff. I made a little heart photo frame last night and today started working on a page. I am just going to copy the gallery. Cute stuff and I don't have to think. It makes me feel like I am taking a class from the professionals in my pajamas. Have scrapbook group tomorrow. I am finishing the prep work on the packs. Should be fun.
