Sundays at Home

Are kinda crazy. It's nice to have church over with so early in the morning, but then you have the whole rest of the day to bug and pester and complain because there is no t.v. or computer or whatever to entertain. It gets better when Steve starts complaining that he is bored out of his mind! So today I had 4 kids (Steve included) complaining. I just tried to relax. I let them play the computer and gameboy. I took a nap without interruption and everyone was just fine. It's hard to keep to rules when Steve goes against me too. No big deal...We discussed a gospel art picture of Abraham and Isaac before the kids went to bed. Didn't make me feel so guilty.

The kids are geared up for Spring Break. It's been nice not being so strict about bedtimes and rushing baths. We'll pay come next Monday morning. I don't know how well I can live up to their expectations. I really wish that I wasn't SO pregnant. It is perfect weather for bike rides and all the kids enjoy them. We'll just have to spend some time at the park. Lauren wants to invite friends over. Kyle hasn't mentioned much, as long as it includes a game he's fine. I am just hoping to get through the week with everyone being friends and getting along. I seem to enjoy the kids when I have them one on one. So much more pleasant!

Sometimes Steve says to Kyle, "my brother from another mother." Well tonight Kyle said, "Dad I'm a brother from your wife!" He is so funny!

Finished all my work from Pebbles....will drop that off this week. So happy to be done! I actually scrapped a page tonight for me. Was fun! No pressure. I am going to use it as my final page for the monthly scrapbook group that meets. We are taking the summer off due to the baby and all. Nice to not have to worry about that. So now my focus is the baby book. Should be fun and quick since the pages are only 8x8 with no photos yet.

Hoping to take more pictures this week. Took one of myself. Funny huh? If the neighbor's saw, they would probably think I was crazy. Kinda like how it turned out, may even use it in my upstairs....have three more frames to fill. Thought I should include Steve and myself.

I will just leave you with a photo of Kade in his favorite spot! He has quite the attitude lately. Does not like to hear No! and is a very determined child. He does not give up easily. We daily play the chair game. I'm trying to fix dinner, and in the process, every 20 seconds pulling him off the counter and putting the chair back. He proceeds to yell and get the chair OVER and OVER and OVER again! Enough to drive me crazy!
