In need

of some good cookie recipes for a cookie exchange on Friday morning. I need something other than your average chocolate chip. Something new and innovative and tasty and Martha-ish, but easy at the same time. Is there such a recipe? I will be on the lookout tonight. If you have any recommendations...send them my way. Thanks in advance.

I have a really good recipe for a peanut butter cookie with a Snickers in the middle. They aren't exactly Martha but they are really good...

Snicker Cookies (Sorry, my e-mail is down...)

1 c. softened butter
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
20 bite size Snickers

Surround each Snickers with a heaping tablespoon of cookie dough. Bake in a 350' oven for about 15 minutes.

Mom made some good cookies once called blondies I think. You could always do sugar cookies. Mom's recipie is really good. I have one for a cookie that had a rolo candy in the middle & the outside uses a yellow cake mix. It's pretty yummy.

I dunno. I'm no good at this.
