Today was a regularly scheduled well visit for Brandon. He has not been feeling well for a week or so. I was holding out taking him because I wanted to see his doctor.
Last night Kade started running a temp. So she saw both boys for a sick visit. Boy these two must have high pain tolerances.
Diagnosis:
Kade: double ear infections, sinus infection, fluid in the chest area.
Brandon: double ear infections, sinus infection that is much worse than Kade's.
So I'm thinking great. $70 office visit and antibiotics for both boys that will probably be $50 each. Well I was pleasantly surprised...they were $7 each!!! Made my day.
Neither one have been complaining much. Aside from the snot nose, and coughing, Brandon has been all smiles exploring and pulling up on everything.
Just on a side note, the nurses must think that I am crazy. They always want to know the details. Which is important. I guess that I don't have such a great memory. When did they start being congested? I'm thinking huh? which one? was it two days or three? Who knows? Then the temperature questions. How high was it? I NEVER take their temp, unless they feel so incredibly hot. I just give the tylenol. Good thing my doctor understands. She is a mom.

im so glad to hear another person admitt they don't take temps. I never do either and when the doc asks how high I just make one up b/c I feel like he'll think Im terrible. hope the boys get better quick!
I always tell the doctor, "she had a REALLY HIGH fever."
Then the ask me the temperature & I say, "Oh, I don't know. I didn't actually take it. It was the middle of the night."
Ha ha. They must think I'm an idiot.
Gee whiz though, hope those boys start getting over all this junk.
