I just love when kids start writing. Kyle made me smile the other day. I was having a rough time. Oh wait, I have a rough time everyday at the tail end. So Kyle threw down a paper airplane that he had written inside: "Mom I Luv You" Then I found this notebook I had just purchased for the church bag. In case you can't read it "GoynsLumetreSchool 1gd" So cute.
We are upgrading to satellite TV with DVR today. The Abbott household has been in the dark ages. What you can actually tape a show without a VHS tape? and pause live TV? I know that it has been far too long because Dad and Mom have had this for awhile now. I could get it all for the same price that I am paying now for Cox Cable. So I did it. TV watching is going to go to new levels. Especially for Kade. Taping Dora and watching it whenever. Cool. The kids have plans of their own as well.
I just got registered to take this photography class. The first available spot was in July. So I am excited about learning more while at home, but with a more one on one feel. I hope to learn loads.

Also I just started reading this book last night. Before I will attempt to begin reading something, I have to know that it will be good. So I usually get recommendations. I remember seeing this woman on Oprah back when I watched everyday. She grew up homeless. It always interests me that people can come from such dysfunction and be successful. The monetary success doesn't impress me as much. But just normal, functioning members of society. That they can rise above the crap and survive what they came from. There is a bit of colorful language. But this is real life and it is shocking to me. Shocking that parents are so lax. I realized from the little bit that I have read, that I am an overprotective parent and my children live a charmed life. Hoping to finish this. Better add it to my list. Ha ha!
AND I have not taken any photos for about a week. Need to be better about that this week. It is so nice outside. I have no excuses.

What Kyle wrote on that notebook is cute. That class looks pretty cool. Maybe you can teach me what you learn!:)
Ohh I'm so jealous you're taking that class. You'll have to let me know if it's worth the cash...
Bummer! Tickets are the worst! It's cute that one of the kids said they would pay.
