Temple

I was able to go to the temple this morning. Amber was nice enough to watch all the kids and take them to the park. She is superwoman!
I love the temple. There is great power in attending. Power to receive direction and to feel the spirit unrestrained. My life is often unbalanced. It was nice to sit and be still and calm and reflect upon the things of the most importance in this life. To try better to do better to be better.
I appreciate the wonderful peaceful feeling that comes the minute I step foot through the front doors. I am grateful to know that I can feel the love my Savior has for me within the walls of the temple. That I can be strengthened and renewed. It was a great day.
The words of President Hinckley always seem to come to mind from the dedicatory prayer for this temple....he said that the temple would be "an oasis of peace and life and light in contrast with the clamor and evil and darkness of the world." I love that quote.
