New Members of the Family

That's how these kids see it.
Kyle's teacher was giving away her hermit crab and Kyle set on having it.
She called on Friday afternoon to let me know that another student's mother had already come to pick it up and that she felt terrible.
Thankfully I told Kyle that if he didn't receive it we would go buy one. (So he wouldn't freak out at school)

Well Steve bought 4 and all the stuff to go along.
The people at Petsmart are all business.
Steve had to sign a paper that we would take care of the little creatures.
That's going a bit too far in my mind.

Maybe they should have included something along the lines of don't use a butter knife to help get the hermit crab out of their shells....they'll come out on their own.
Seems that when I was upstairs tending to Brandon, the kids and Steve decided that one of the crabs was stuck in his shell and needed some assistance. So he (Steve) used a butter knife to "help him out" and one of his legs "just fell off"

Later that night Steve found the kids in their room, in the dark, praying for that little crab. He's still alive...barely. They love those things.

Lauren had dance pictures today. Thankfully she got through them before she came down with some serious pink eye. Her right eye is so swollen. Glad that I have some medication and hopefully by tomorrow she will be fine. She is dying to give the talk in Primary that she wrote herself.

I am cracking up right now! I was for sure you were going to say that you found the kids with the butter knife....not Steve. Good thing he signed the form to take care of them!

Lauren looks so cute!

That is FUNNY!

Great the Petsmart Police are going to have to come and get Steve for being an unfit crab caretaker.
