Thoughts on the lens: It's heavy! My 85mm 1.8 is much better at blurring the backgrounds. Jennifer you'll have to let me know what you think. I'll email you to make arrangements to meet for the hand off.

I have about 6 months or more worth of photos that I have not printed out. I am working on getting them downloaded and putting an order in to Costco. I was thinking that I haven't scrapbooked in ages....and the obscene amount of photos I take each month is alarming. There's no hope of scrapping everything I want to. So I was thinking that I am going to do a monthly spread documenting the things that were done in each month. I'm gonna start with April. I have also been dying to do Ali Edwards concept book of "A Week in the Life" A year or so ago, I printed out the homework that she gave to those attending her CKU class. I am unable to find that on the web anywhere to share, but I have a hard copy if anyone is interested. I will never go to a CKU. Not anytime soon. So I thought I would make the album on my own. I was delighted to hear that she is including that class concept as well as the layout in her upcoming book. So fun! That's my lofty goal. I probably won't accomplish it before the book is released, but it's something I definitely want to complete. A meaningful album that shows the details of everyday.
