Happy Mail

I have been blah blah blah blah about taking photos. Haven't really wanted to pick up my camera. I was all geared up for my upcoming photography class. However, the instructor had to bump it back three weeks. Maybe that has something to do with it. I am looking for a package to come in the next couple of days that will have this little beauty in it. I'm sure I won't have any problems playing around once it arrives.

A friend of mine is about to have her baby. She took some shots of me when pregnant, and I thought I would return the favor. She is the real deal though. Has a background in photography, did it for a living, has taken great shots of my kids through the years. I am much more the candid go with the flow type of picture taker. She has a method and thinks about positioning and little pieces of hair that are flying away and straightening clothes that may be laying funny. Kinda some pressure. I hope she'll be happy with what I capture. I'm not sure how it will all work out without Stephanie leading the way. But I'm for sure in. If anything it will give me more practice.

I subscribed to Poppy Ink kit club. The first kit arrived today and I am loving it. Lots of variety of product. Something that I felt was lacking in my Jenni Bowlin kits. Much more paper. Based on this first kit, I would definitely recommend. And their design team is awesome.
