When Lauren was in 1st grade, she made a stamped pottery piece that went well with the colors in our powder room, so I placed it on the shelf in there. It was also a good spot because little hands were less likely to pull it down and break it. Well 2nd grade rolled around, and we put that piece in there as well. Kyle made his first pottery piece this year and you got it, on the shelf it went. It was no surprise where this little gem belonged.....I had to smile because it reminded me of Candace's pottery man that she has been packing around. Who knows, maybe these works of art will still be in one piece when the kids leave home.
