Potty Training

Last night while I was reading to Kade I realized that the poor boy does not know the ABC song....where have I been? I felt terrible that I have not been singing with him. He really doesn't know it. I decided that from here on out we would sing it everyday. He will eventually catch on. He will begin preschool in a couple of weeks and I'm pretty sure they need to be potty trained. I have been putting that on the back burner waiting for him to be "ready." Last year at this time, he was very interested, and actually being somewhat successful and then he regressed. He has shown NO interest. I have been talking with him about wearing underwear again. Every time he says, "Let's talk about this later Mom" I decided that we couldn't wait around until he was ready. When he woke up, I put on some underwear and hid all the diapers. He was so upset. Cried for an hour or so. Then he went all day long. Only had one accident. Sometimes you just have to push them....I'm sure he could have done this MONTHS ago.

I love when they go from diapers to underwear....their bums are so squishy!
