Busy Boy

We finally got the pictures hung in Brandon's room this weekend.
Maybe I'll cover the mats with colored paper.
It looks really white...like it needs a punch of color.
This little guy is a handful.
We always forget how active our kids really are.
He is just like the others.
Into everything...busy, busy.
And it doesn't get better once they are older.
I suppose it is a good thing that he is so physically active
because that also means he has an active mind.
Some things he's into right now...
He loves to tease. He plays this game with Kade.
Grabs whatever Kade is working on and then
RUNS. Love the game of chase. Looks back to make sure someone is chasing him.
Then laughs hysterically while running with his chunky, little legs.
So cute.
The other thing that he loves lately is to be a monkey.
Steve pulls both the little boys up by their legs and they hang upside down together.
Since he refuses to speak and uses only grunting sounds, pointing or screaming to get his way,
we know he wants to be a monkey if he lays down on the ground and lifts his legs up and drops it to the ground.
Funny how he can get his point across without speaking.
Finally, he has this cute little shy look where he looks out of the corner of his eye
and will not look at you if he knows your attention is directed at him.
All of the cute things make up for the trouble he gets in each day.
We need to do some more childproofing.
There are some definite problem areas that drive me batty.
I'm sure once we have those areas under control, he will create new problems.
That's just the kind of kid he is.
By the way, Lauren found out that she got the part of Tall Alice.
Apparently there are three alice parts: regular Alice, small Alice and tall Alice.
Poppa and Grammie called to see if they could get her autograph.
That made her laugh!

I'm excited for Lauren, that will make the play even funner to watch.

Kristen said the other day that it's not fair that the 2nd graders don't get to be in the play. She says she will definately try out next year. We'll see!
