The kids also did some corn syrup paintings. I played along too.

There isn't a set recipe.

Just pour some corn syrup into 4 bowls, add about 10 drops of food coloring, stir and paint. A thin coat works best and it takes forever to dry. Can be a bit messy too, so newspaper would be good to put underneath.

Kimberly is leaving for college at the end of this month. I really wanted to get her album done. Finished it up this afternoon. Here are the rest of the pages.

I got a little done on Kimberly's book. I am filling it with different "just be" statements and quotes to go along with it. I wanted it to be more than a book of photos. Something with some advice. I'm liking how it is turning out.

Finally, a lot can happen in a weekend. I got a call from the agent at Pardee homes. They decided not to continue our contingency. So we will take our house off the market. No moving this year for us. At least we tried. Actually I feel relief. Off to plan a beach trip (much to Steve's dismay) and look into getting my lens.
