The First Day of School

The kids made it safely. Lauren was still not feeling well, but was determined to go. The parking situation was crazy! I can not believe the amount of cars all trying to get to the same place. I'm sure the congestion will alleviate after the first week. We endured the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony. Lauren was so NOT looking forward to that. She said it was so boring last year. But she was a trooper and I thankfully packed her some cold water. As Lauren was walking off with her class, Kyle yelled "Lauren! Lauren! Bye Lauren!" Then he turned to me and said, "I miss Lauren." The boys and I went home and Kyle enjoyed some Kim Possible (he loves that show). Kept asking when it was time for him to go. Suprisingly, I was alright with Kyle going to Kindergarten today. He knew some friends, knew his teacher....all is good. Kade fell asleep on the way to drop Kyle off. The house is quiet.
