new beginnings. Every year I am so glad to get the Christmas decorations down and packed away and the house back to normal. It was great to have the kids go back to school and get back into a routine. I cleaned like a mad woman these past few days. Went to target got some new bins and started cleaning and sorting and purging toys from the playroom. It feels great. I don't know what it is about January, but I feel the urge to get organized. Have started a few little projects around the house. Hopefully I won't give up before getting to all areas.
We met with Ben this week so he could design a desk/computer area. It should look great when it's finished. We are waiting to approve the plans. It will make this area of the house look so much nicer plus be functional. It might just be the kick start I need to choose fabric for the curtains and make throw pillows not to mention the walls....I need to hang pictures up here.
I will be 20 weeks on Monday. We find out what this baby is on Wednesday. Excited about that. It is hard to imagine that we will be having another baby around here. The pregnancy is going so quickly.
I surprised Steve with a trip to Chicago for Christmas. We will go in March. Way excited about going somewhere different and flying on an airplane. Have only done that once in my life. Is something fun to look forward to. A trip all of our own.
Headed to the temple tomorrow afternoon. It has been closed for reconstruction for a couple of months. It will be nice to attend a session. Also have planned to take maternity photos of Carol Monson. I am a little intimidated by this. Will definetly be a challenge. Stephanie Brough is coming along as well. I am way excited about that. Hope to learn many things from her.
