Thinking about today

1. Booking the cruise and airline tickets. Steve has finally decided and I am glad to be going somewhere that I don't have to wake up early, find food in a strange city and walk to places of interest in the snow.
2. Grateful that Mom and Dad will be taking care of the kids. Sort of feeling guilty about leaving them with the three rascals.
3. Trying to schedule everything for the month....activity days, meetings, hair appointments, and coordinating with Steve's schedule. It seems that the month fills up too quickly.
4. What's for dinner tonight. I should be thawing out some meat and making a plan. I HATE dinner hour.
5. Glad that Kade is feeling a little better. He was so stuffy and clingy and whiny and tired....always wanting to be held. He had a good morning playing. He generally doesn't get too sick. Of all the kids he has had the least number of ear infections. I believe only two. Not too shabby.
6. Wishing that I had more energy toward the evening hours. Thinking about projects that I would like to start or finish. I just want to go to bed after 9p.m.
7. Bought some cute fabric to make a "rag pillow" for the bonus room. Sewed one valance for upstairs. It looks so cute. Just need some more curtain rods.
8. Dreading going to pick the kids up from school since they rode their bikes. The ride up on the trail is exhausting for me lately.
9. Kimberly is a funny girl. I asked her if she could sew a bag for Lauren. She said she could get it done in a "hizzle" Apparently that means fast. Who knew?

10. My hair needs to be done. Check out my roots. I am starting to feel large. Kyle took this picture. I don't think that I have any decent ones of me and Lauren. Both kids had fun being the photographers. Good thing the images can be erased.

Here's a few other shots from yesterday afternoon. I've been trying to keep a schedule so that homework gets done and they get enough play time in after school. Kade especially loves the trampoline. He was wrestling with Kyle. My pictures are blurry because of all the movement. Kyle is not fond of this picture:

And here's Lauren who is so used to the camera being in her face posing. And Kyle with the perfect T-shirt that says "I didn't do it" (It won't let me post the pictures...I'll try later)
