Silly Kade

This is Kade's Spongebob impression. He usually does the thumb and face together. He wanted me to take the picture, he just didn't want to do the two together. I'll take what I can get with this kid. A couple of funny Kade stories:
1. Steve told the kids that they were going to look at some turtles and fish at the nursery but they weren't to touch them. Kade says: I know Dag, I'm just going to pet them.
2. He is big time into the stage of doing it by himself! I hear "I want to do that by myself!" usually accompanied by a whine countless times a day. He has to redo something FROM THE BEGINNING if you happen to do something for him. It is so annoying. The other night, I was moving him back into his bed from the floor where he had fallen. His eyes opened and he said "I want to do it by myself!" He was so tired he went right back to sleep. He kills me wanting to be so independent even in his sleep.
3. When he wants me to see something and be by him, he'll say "Mom come see Diego." I see it bud. "No come floser!"
4. The discussion of his upcoming birthday is still off limits! He told me he wants to be two forever. I would have to agree that it would be cute to bottle him up at this age, but so very exhausting if he never grew up! So bud, the birthday is coming whether you like it or not!!
