So here it is December

and I have not posted in forever. I wanted this to be a sort of journal....a journal to record the everyday happenings. I will have to do better at updating. This month has been so busy and we are scheduled almost every night until the end of the year. We put lights on the house this year. I love that. It looks so pretty all lit up. The tree went up the day after Thanksgiving. The kids have been excited. Wishing and hoping for snow which is nearly an impossibility. They have been busy in their classrooms. Making holiday projects, gingerbread houses, parties, Kyle's Polar Express field trip today. Such anticipation. Tonight we took the first batch of neighbor gifts around. I finished the teacher gifts and have to make 35 gingerbread cookies for Kyle's class on Friday. The kids will be out of school on Monday. We are planning to go to Opportunity Village with Tanner's preschool class again on Wednesday. Candace will be in town so she's coming too. Should be lots of fun. I finished most of the toy shopping. I have to buy for gift exchanges and find a little something for Steve. I always wait until the last minute. We are doing blocks with pictures of the family members for Dad and Mom. Shouldn't be too difficult just need to get together to get those done. Need to think about scrapbook pages for Mom. Hopefully I can get to those before Christmas day! SO much to do. But such a fun time of the year.
Kyle had his kindergarten program. Thankfully Steve had gotten a new "camacorder" as Kyle says it. Kyle was a ham. Such the entertainer. Not a shy bone in his body when he has an audience. Here is a cute picture of him in his reindeer getup.
