I don't know why I am so surprised. I really felt like it would be a girl. There is no denying the ultrasound picture. So I am taking the news in. I always like to finally know what the babe will be. I sort of bond with it. It becomes more of a reality. So there is lots to think about. Names for one. Always a daunting task especially boy names. Lauren is concerned about room arrangements. I thought she would be so upset at first as she has been calling the baby Brynn. Her reaction was "Oh man another boy!" But then she said, "Oh well now I get my own room and the three boys can share." Later in the evening during her prayers, she prayed that they would be wrong and it was really a girl. Sweet girl really wants a sister. Kyle is excited of course. I am happy that everything looks good. The ultrasound tech did some looking around the lip area and everything appears to be normal. They are going to recheck next appointment. I feel as though there is no need to worry that everything will be alright.
Steve and I decided to go to Washington D.C. instead of Chicago for our trip in March. We may bump it up to February since I won't be as large. In any event we are excited and can't wait to go to a city with so much to see.
I have activity days this afternoon. Sis. Scott was called to be my assistant. I hope that this makes things go smoother. We're painting today...should be fun!
