Usual Saturday

I always have high expectations for Saturday...plan the impossible. But we got lots done today. Steve worked in the yard and actually got the sprinklers working again. Our grass will be green again in the near future. Little Kade helped him almost all morning. He is our best worker! Seriously. Steve was amazed at how good he was in the front yard.

I went through all the clothes in Kade's room that have accumulated from all the kids and got two big garbage bags ready for D.I. It felt so good. Got all the laundry done and folded even the socks! Went grocery shopping and to Target to buy Kyle (well the family) an X box. Our playstation fell and broke. Life is pretty unbearable for Ky. Steve promised he would get one today. That boy was in heaven. Kade was pretty excited too. Lego Star Wars game what could be better?

Lauren was not feeling so well this morning. It has progressed to worse tonight. She probably has ear infections. She is finally falling asleep. I medicated her, gave her some of Kyle's antibiotic, ear drops, motrin. Hope she sleeps for awhile. She stayed inside all day today. She busied herself with drawing, playing school, scrapbooking and practicing her piano. Here she is...sweet girl, with her braided slept on pigtails.

Hoping to make it to church tomorrow. It has been two weeks since I've been there, with the cruise and sick kids last week.
