One week of summer vacation left

I thought I would never make it to this time. I have to admit that I have loved not having much of a schedule. I have enjoyed having the kids at home. But the boredom and fighting and lack of structure has driven me crazy. I smile now because we have made it to the end of summer and because both Lauren and Kyle will be in school all day. When they get home, they will be tired from learning and playing and they will go to sleep on time. Hoefully they will get along better. It makes me so smile.

So yesterday Kyle and his friend Andrew entertained themselves in the mud. They were very determined to complete their project of digging a muddy ditch in our backyard. Such boy stuff. That's what summer is all about I suppose.
