Ice Cream, Haircuts and a willing subject

I finally went to get a haircut today. I LOVE getting my hair cut and it was long overdue. So I went a little darker....still have blonde highlights but I like it. I think I want to grow it out a bit. I always think that and then end up cutting it. We'll see what happens this time.

Addressed my Christmas cards and they are in the mail. Didn't hand make them this year. Oh well! Made a list of gifts and I have actually done really well. Need to get a few more items but I know what they are. Sometimes it is hard for me to focus at Christmas...too much stimulation when I go into the stores. I guess that is what they want so we will buy, buy, buy! So I spent a few hours online scoping things out tonight while enjoying my ice cream. Got a little sidetracked. (I guess it happens during online browsing too) Happened to look at the Canon 30D.....isn't that a beautiful piece of equipment. I wonder if camera stores will take a trade in kinda like car dealerships for an upgrade? A girl can dream right?

And isn't Brandon so cute? The funny thing is both Kade and Brandon can fit into that hat. He seems to be the only one lately that will hold still for the camera.

Yesterday we went to Walmart to get presents for the kid's gift exchange. On the way out there was a group of polygamists...dressed in their long dresses and braided hair and look very similar to one another. Lauren says mom I need to tell you a secret.....those ladies look like they are from the olden days. After learning who and what they were IN THE CAR...she says Do you have to dress like THAT to belong to their church? Lauren such the fashionista!
