Ruffle Apron

Today is the kids last day before track and Spring Break. All this week they have been slip n sliding and eating Popsicles...the moment they get home from school. We don't have big plans. Steve isn't able to leave work right now. So I'll make the most of it here at home.

I have been very good about not getting into more projects. I haven't checked much off of my list, but I am plugging along. I have to host a Bunco group next month and I have to come up with 5 gifts that go with the theme. I thought I would do a recipe exchange and I have been wanting to make these aprons. So technically it is an assignment. I stopped by Walmart and browsed their fabric selection. Not a great big variety but I did find these few and it turned out to be a cute apron. So I have plenty of fabric to make a couple more. I do not sew (really) I just fake it like everything else. There are some flaws and things I will do differently next go around but overall I'm pretty pleased. If your interested, here's the tutorial.
This photo cracks me up. I put the camera on timer. I think the crop is pretty cool...lucky. But the apron is not in focus. But you get the idea.

The apron looks great! Good job & quit telling yourself that you don't sew.

I love the colors too, so great for this time of year.
