I spent an hour on the phone today with dish network trying to work out the situation. Seems they didn't have the right equipment last night to hook all TV's up. I was told that it would not be a problem to switch it all out for free within a 3 day period. Apparently the customer service department(ha! what happened to real customer service?) said there would be a $200 hookup charge. I was disconnected twice, had to demand to speak to supervisors who proved to be NOT helpful. I finally said forget it come and get everything I'll go with another provider. They had the nerve to tell me I couldn't get out of my contract. Oh I was HOT! I found the contract and the fine print that stated that I had a 30 day full money back guarantee. The operator said they don't stand by that guarantee as of Feb. 1. Needless to say, I was transferred to the cancellation department. The lady was so nice. She waived the fees and took care of the problem. All will be well on Monday. We will still be customers of dish network.
So this got me thinking. What drives you crazy? What are you're pet peeves?
I have SO many.....
but number one on my list
1. I cannot stand STUPID, rude, inconsiderate people.

It basically always comes back to this.
Finally, a few from yesterday:

You know, I work at the DMV and before people call, it's like they prepare for war. They are so surprised to talk to someone helpful. It's not hard and it makes everyone's day better. I don't get why everyone can't be like that. I think it's a big pet peeve of mine, too.
ONE of my pet peeves is this: Nothing is EVER really free. As much as people want you to think it's free, it's not. There will always be some sort of annoying, irritating effort on your part, to cancel, to return, to argue, to wait, blah blah blah. Remember that! Obviously not in regards to friends.... I wish I could type a smiley face...
