I took Kyle to get some new shoes last night. It is always nice for me to occasionally take one child at a time. I'm less stressed and they get a little more of my undivided attention. On the way there he was a little chatterbox. He first started with the limo discussion. My kids for some reason wish that they had a limo. They equate this with wealth. A limo is the MOST expensive, lavish, top of the line car in their minds. Anyone who drives a limo is filthy rich and famous! So he says, "I wish we had a limo, then we would have a butler, and a person to drive the limo, then we would be famous, and I could buy a mansion. Don't you wish that Mom?" Ummm not really bud! Then he goes on to talk about wishing that we were invisible so we could just go straight through the lights and get where we needed to in a flash. What if someone hits us because they can't see us? "Oh Mom, we would have a crash protection. Our car would never get in a wreck." Being invisible has it's perks. Apparently we could punch people but not hurt them because our arms would go straight through them.
He sometimes reminds me of that girl on Higglytown Heros with the extravagant, imaginative, unpractical solutions to all of their problems. An imagination he has indeed. And that is a good thing.
