I kept the boys busy with a roll of butcher paper. They did this in between fort building with the cushions on the couch (that drives me CRAZY!)and dressing up as pirates.

That activity brings back good memories of a shared art experience with my brothers and sisters in the California house. We used to love to spread out on the patio and draw and color on such a big space. Today was no different. Kyle wanted me to draw with him. When he was getting tubes in his ears last year, I brought along some paper and we would take turns....he drew a part of a monster and then me and so on. He must have liked that because today we were drawing monsters as well.
Kade was telling me today, "Mom don't get mag at me this time." as he was headed down the stairs. I kept asking him Why, what was he doing? Then I heard the freezer open. Sure enough he was down on the stairs with a handful of chocolate chips sharing with Brandon. He is seriously the chocolate chip thief. He sneaks those any time of day. Wonder where he got that sweet tooth from??
I cleaned the kids bulletin boards up and hung the letters that I have had for months. It looks so much cleaner in there. I am itching to make some curtains and rearrange some things in there. Weeding through unused toys and having the kids make some artwork to put on the walls. I've got ideas we'll see how it turns out.

I LOVE your polka dotted chairs that I can see in the background of the first photo!
