What you need:
1. cookie sheet any size will do. I bought a medium sized one at Walmart for $3.40
2. Mod Podge
3. foam brushes
4. corner rounder
5. Patterned Paper
6. foam stamps, number stamps and/or letter and number stickers
7. random embellishments: flowers, tags, whatever is in your stash.
I made this one simple with four things: stars, circle tags, reg. tags and trees. Then just rotated them in a pattern. For the 25th I made a little reindeer with a small circle punch for the nose and triangle for face and handcut antlers. I will post pictures when I get the sample back if you want.
8. black marker, pencil, ruler
9. Roll of the magnet tape
Directions:
1. I just laid the papers out on the cookie sheet to see how I liked them. I left about 2 or 3" on the top for December then a thin strip of patterned paper and then my background for the calendar. On the bottom, there will be space left for another block of patterned paper and I used the same pattern for the thin strip on the bottom. (Hope that makes sense)
2. Next you trim all of the papers down to size. I used a corner rounder for the corners to match the curve on the cookie sheet.
3. Now before you glue anything down, you need to make the grid for the numbers to go on. I made four rows of seven. So measure your paper and divide it up evenly. Don't worry too much about this. My last row is a tad bigger than the rest. No one will ever know. I used a pencil first and measured both sides so that my lines would be straight. Then I went back over them with the ruler and a black thin tipped marker.
4. Next mod podge the back of the paper, place it on the cookie sheet and then another coat over the top. I did this in pieces. Just keep adding until it sticks. I even used the edge of my finger to push the paper down on the edges. Don't stress about this part...try to get the bubbles out. When it dries it will look much better.
5. Forgot to mention....BEFORE you Mod Podge add the header using either stickers, stamps or stencils. Then over the top.
6. Create your numbers using your various embellishments. Put magnet on the back.
That's all there is to it. It is time consuming. But so worth it. Ask if you have any questions or need clarification. Please share when you are done. Can't wait to see what you create!

It turned out so cute! You are amazing.
Thank you so much for posting the instructions...It kinda stinks that I'm not in the ward anymore and just can't make one for Super Saturday. DARN. However I really appreciate the instructions!
Thanks for the instructions! I'm not sure if I'll be able to find all of the supplies here, but I'm going to keep the info for once we're back in Canada. I'm a dork and new to blogging, so should I respond to your comments on your site or mine? Anyway, Len works for Canada's Foreign Affairs, so that's why we're in Taiwan. It's fun, but I do get homesick a lot too. I put your site on a link on mine, but then I thought I should ask your permission first. Let me know if you'd like me to remove it =). Sorry for another novel. Jen
thanks for the instructions.
I am so glad to have the instructions! Thanks! I can't wait to see a full size picture, too. You know I have know imagination, I can only copy. ;)
