Happy List

Happy, happy joy joy.

We had another round of playgoup.

The kids had fun playing outside, it was nice today.

Kade and Parker didn't want a picture.

I finally finished Eclipse. I LOVE that series.
Cannot wait for the next book.
need a new read....any ideas?
We are going to take the kids to Disneyland this next week.
We are hoping that they are all well before then.
Watching the weather in CA. Hoping it doesn't rain.
Planning some trips for this year.
Family reunion in Washington in June.
We decided it would be best to fly.
The kids are way excited for their first plane ride.
I am so excited we don't have to be stuck in a car for two days up and two days back.
Certainly makes it worth it.

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I loved the book 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan'. I just saw it at Costco yesterday too. Fascinating book following the life of a Chinese girl and their traditions, including foot binding. Really, Really good.

Please give Jake a hi-5 for me next time you have play group. How fun! I LOVED the Twilight series too, and can't wait for the 4th one. I got 4 books for Christmas, but I won't let myself crack them open until I organize my office. Anyway, they are The Memory Keeper's Daughter, The Kite Runner, The Alchemist, and The Joy Luck Club. I've been into Chinese-themed books lately and enjoyed The Hundred Secret Senses, Wild Swans, and Bound. Have fun at Disneyland and Washington!

Family reunion in Washington? That sounds like fun. Russ and I were just looking for vacation ideas in Washington and Oregon...

I just read a book called Princess Academy. It was for a book club that I ended up missing but I thought about sending Lauren a copy. It was good.

O.K. I now realize why my mom said Mollie's hair looked "goofy" when she does it. YIKES!!! I didn't know it was that bad!! Oh well, at least she tried right?
