We're Home

We had a rough start... We stayed up late packing and it didn't help that Nelly pooped all over the bathroom. DISGUSTING! I never wanted to hurt an animal so bad. The airport was crazy busy. We filed through, paid extra for the luggage since we packed everything into one bag. Went through security. There was a long line there. Made it to the gate just as they were boarding. The flight was so quick. It seemed like we had just finished ascending when the started the descent. Once there, we had to find the lady to get to the shuttle to take us to the port. Found her, but not our luggage. It was on the next flight. For awhile we thought we were going to have to take a cab. The bus couldn't wait much longer for us because there were others. Luggage came, Steve calmed down (he thought someone else had taken it) and we made it to the port. We did not have time to stop and eat anything....so here it was 4 p.m. and we were starving. After getting checked in, we went straight to the top for lunch. Tons of yummy, delicious food. That's basically how the weekend went. ALways good food. Here's half of the boat. HUGE!!
We could feel movement every once in awhile, but overall it was pretty normal. We spent the days eating, reading, watching others make fools of themselves. It was nice. Very good service. Always someone coming around getting drink orders, making your bed, cleaning your room, waiting on you. We spent one of the days in Ensenada. We went to La Bufadora. There is a cave and the tide goes into it and compresses and shoots water up like a geyser. Tide was low...no geyser. But we did experience Mexican culture...walked down a flea market type shopping area. Where they hound you till you get through. Ate some authentic churros. At La Bufadora, there was a man playing the guitar. Steve slid over next to him to get his picture taken. The man had no idea.
