We were at Kyle's guitar lesson this morning, and Kade locked himself in the organ room. It was an all glass room so he could see outside and me inside. The store did not have a key for that lock. I tried to coach Kade into turning the lock, but he wasn't strong enough. We called Pop a Lock, he was having trouble and suggested that we call the fire department so they could get in through the roof. So in come three fully dressed firefighters with their axe and other equipment. Finally another locksmith came and drilled the lock out of the door. So he was in there for about 45 minutes. Did well at the beginning, kind of thought it was a game...then he started to get irritated that I wouldn't let him out. He had moments of crying. Sweet Kyle was suprised to see him in their after his lesson and started to tear up. He is so emotional. Kade kept looking out and their were always new faces looking in so that kept him entertained. The funniest thing was the locksmith said, "Don't worry, we will get him out of there." Well DUH! I don't think I was really concerned about that. So that was our excitement for the day.
Kyle has had serious allergies. He wakes up so stuffy. One morning this week he said, "I wish there were no boogers in this life."
Also at one of Kyle's baseball games this week, late into thgame, one of the coaches asked him what position he wanted to play in the outfield. "None" said Kyle. He wanted to sit on the bench. The coach looked kind of confused, but that's just Kyle for you.
