Today was day one of our art project. The kids both really seemed to get into it. We have one more painting day unless the kids decide to finish up tonight. Kade was a terror. He wanted to be in the middle of the action. I should have gotten him a canvas to paint his own art. Next time.

Kyle is anxious to know what the next part entails. He watched a total of 1 hour T.V. today and guess what? He's still alive. Amazing what some creativity will do for a kid. Wish that I had enough patience to do more with them.

Kyle said why can't I have a sink right by my table. He was getting tired of getting up each time to rinse his brush. Wouldn't it be cool to have a real art studio with concrete floors where anything goes...no worries about messes. Just play and have fun. I LOVE kids art. I think elementary art teacher would be a cool job. Play all day. No worries about teaching the kids to read and you get them for one hour and send them back to their teachers.
