Photos and Valentines

Isn't digital photography great? I get the instant gratification of seeing the image. I can instantly post an image on my blog that I took seconds ago. Amazing really. Well along with this convenience, are a few disadvantages. I forget to actually get the photos printed!! When the kids want to look at pictures they go to the computer. It's handy to have them all there, but I cannot remember the last time I had my photos printed. So tonight, I plan on putting an order together. It will probably be a rather large order that will sit on my scrapbook desk until the cycle begins again.

I have been thinking that I want to make some little board books for the kids as a valentine's gift. Something small, and simple and meaningful. So they can each have their own little book about them. Thanks to Dylan for showing us the art of bookmaking. I was so excited about all of the possibilites. I have not yet had the chance to play with this newfound knowledge. Planning on making a trip to Blick to get the necessary supplies this week. I will share when they are completed.

That is such a good idea!

Why don't you just make a trip to my house instead because I have all the supplies! Call me!

Yeah, cute idea. Your kids will love it.

I still remember one year when you were in high school you left out a box of conversation hearts for all of us younger kids on Valentine's Day. You're so nice!

Did I really? I don't recall. How funny is it that the little things really matter and are what we remember. Thanks for sharing.
